The American Sector is a film about panels of the Berlin Wall scattered across the United States. It captures how monuments to our country's past resonate into the present.。从小到大都个性强烈的齐若谷（马伊琍饰）怀揣着心中的远大理想成为了一名专门报道社会新闻的职业记者。一次外出采访时，身背重要摄影器材的若谷成为了歹徒觊觎的对象，幸运的是，恰好路过此地的男子陈剑平（贾一平饰）无私地伸出了援手，若谷这才逃过了一劫，她和剑平之间的缘分也就此开始。 若谷发现自己深深的爱上了极富正义感的剑平，然而，若谷的母亲却早就在心里为女儿物色好了结婚对象，更糟的是，大大咧咧的剑平似乎对若谷的强烈感情一无所知。在闺蜜甘露（白百何饰）的“出谋划策”之下，主动出击的若谷屡战屡败。随着时间的推移，若谷的善良渐渐打动了剑平，就在两人之间的关系越走越近之时，他们的感情却遭到了若谷母亲的强烈反对。。Dao returns home and finds her fiance in bed with another woman. She shoots them dead on the spot. She is sentenced to 10 years in prison. She gets out eventually and stays with a friend who runs an escort service and learns that women are even caged in the outside world.。
