抗日战争时期，华北某地。抗战进行到第六个年头，日寇由于参加太平洋战争，物资供应严重不足。今年夏天，康庄小麦获得丰收，敌据点鬼子小队长清水又打上了算盘，他派汉奸四和尚到村里索要军粮。而驻地伪军也打发人到村里要麦子，他们因抢粮发生殴打，村长假意安抚，实则制造敌人之间的矛盾。他暗中号召广大群众坚壁夏粮，又派人和根据地取得联系，八路军王团长要求他利用鬼子和伪军之间的矛盾，挑起敌人内部冲突。一天，清水亲自进村征粮，村长设巧计应付，毫无破绽。最后，他们利用声东击西、虚张声势之计，保护粮食运往根据地……。This season began merely two whole weeks after the first season had ended, on April 19, 2008, with the airing of "The Elite Guard", and ended on July 5, 2008, with the two-parter, "A Bridge Too Close".
