According to the director, Witkacy did not commit suicide but instead hid at his lov...。远古时代，天谗星陨落武当，成为威力无比的神物——天谗。乱世中，各股流寇都欲把它据为己有，以借助其神威称霸武林。而先于此前镇于地下魔鼎内的妖魔亦蠢蠢欲动，以求破鼎而出，再次为患人间。于是，在这样乱世红尘的背景下，相貌丑陋的乞丐楚江（哈小姚饰），与鼎魔达成一项交易：鼎魔赋予楚江潇洒的武士外型和无穷的力量，而楚江则需找到天谗并尽快交给鼎魔，否则打回原形。随后，楚江遂与途中结识的女流寇朵娃（万琼饰）一同寻访天谗。而与此同时，一个名叫大勇（戚风饰）的流浪汉，正被动地接受了武当弟子的嘱托，要带着天谗尽快送回武当，以镇压妖魔，拯救黎民百姓。就这样，两对情人——楚江、朵娃与大勇及其女友核桃（张艳丽饰），为争夺天谗，展开了殊死的拚搏……。
