东晋末年，某大户人家小姐祝英台（乐蒂 饰）渴望前往杭城求学，无奈父亲不允，以致英台茶不思饭不想，忧郁成疾。未久，英台想出妙计，假扮郎中阐明小姐病因，终于令父亲点头同意。在求学途中，假扮男装的英台巧遇风流倜傥的梁山伯（凌波 饰）。二人相谈投机，结伴通行。三年同窗，英台和山伯结为好友，情深意笃，在朝夕相处的过程中，英台心中渐渐萌生对山伯的爱意。无奈碍于身份，不忍道破实情。某日，英台为父亲苦苦催还，只得告假还家，由此演出十八相送的经典戏码。虽是这般试探与暗示，那愚讷的心上儿却没能了知心意，一别成了永远…… 本片根据中国经典民间故事改编，并荣获第二届金马奖最佳影片、最佳导演、最佳女主角（乐蒂）、最佳演技特别奖（凌波）等六项大奖。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。
