As a child, Evie lost herself in the myths and legends of the sea while her family collapsed around her. A childhood tragedy and an estrangement from her loved ones means Evie must find her way in the world on her own....now the demons of her past have come to reclaim her.。楠鄉高中，一所位於苗栗鄉間的技職學校，有一群各有個性但都熱愛籃球的女孩們，只是有限的資源及球技，讓她們不敢多做妄想，一如對自己的人生。直到有一天，據說將有一名從甲級球隊轉學到楠鄉就讀的學生，讓她們突然萌生挑戰甲級，甚至進入八強前進小巨蛋的期望……。女孩們想的是籃球，但大人們就不同了。校長與主任希望藉著戰績拉抬學校的知名度與招生率，家長們則各有不同，有的希望女兒因此能上一所好大學，有的則認為與其空想不如放棄打球腳踏實地，連教練都被挖出不堪的過往。這支第一次決定要打甲級的技職學校球隊，怎樣面對有企業支持、資源雄厚的對手，怎樣熬過先、後天條件較差的體能與技術，怎樣無懼外在不被看好的眼光，怎樣克服內在怯懦的心魔，打出屬於自己的熱血青春？。
