九一八事变后，东北军军官周原带军抗日，发现日军屠村。周原在死人堆里救下猎人之女宋雪兰。10年时间，周原将宋雪兰训练成一个优秀的狙击手。宋雪兰凭借优秀的枪法，暗杀鬼子和汉奸，遭到日军的残酷围捕，周原被日军残杀。地下党康弘毅暗中帮助，使得宋雪兰逃过险境，在康弘毅的指导下，宋雪兰协助游击队对日军基地展开了袭击，报了屠村之仇，宋雪兰也加入了游击队，投身到抗日战争中去。。Previously acclaimed for his essayistic documentaries, Philip Scheffner has now ventured into fiction.
