高中少女间宫雪绘（三浦由衣 饰）戏弄胆小的同班同学菊川夕子（韓英恵 饰），令对方受到巨大惊吓。在此之后，菊川缺席课程，雪绘等人也开始梦到幽怨的菊川。更为恐怖的是，她们接连死于噩梦之中。绝望至极的雪绘只得求助有“恶梦侦探”之称的影沼京一（松田龍平 饰）。 此时的京一正受到童年的噩梦所困扰。童年的他能够看到夜行的幽灵和他人的心事，他的母亲逸子（市川実和子 饰）对儿子逐渐心生恐惧，最终精神崩溃，自我了结生命。时常为他人驱逐噩梦的京一，此刻终于要面对深藏自己心底的恐惧和往事……。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
