A pit worker is crippled by an accident and his wife flirts with another man.。Returning home from an ordinary day at the office, Virgílio finds a rather disturbing message on his answering machine: Clara informs that she is leaving him. Virgílio is used to women leaving him, for him it is even more a certainty than gravity, but he has no recollection of this so-called Clara. He panics, wonders if he's seriously ill or amnesiac, runs to his shrink, thinks...。I didn't much like this film when I first saw it ten or twelve years ago, but I was probably expecting a serious, fast-paced, violent Italian crime film as many of Tomas Milian's mid-70s films were. However this one emphasizes the comedy at least as much as the action, although it is still a successful package and the comedy/crime mixture works well. I haven't see all the later...。
