The story begins with car chases and machine gun shots that leave innocent victims dead on the s...。高中生千谷一也（佐藤大树饰）是一名已经出道的小说家，可是近日里，他的作品在网络上遭到的恶评之声愈演愈烈，一也已经完全不知道该如何继续在写作的道路上走下去了。巧合的是，一也的同伴同学余绫诗凪（桥本环奈饰）也是一名小说家，她的小说正在大受好评之中，照此情势看来，她的写作生涯未来一片光明。 一也的编辑策划了一个企划，那就是让已经过气的一也和炙手可热的余绫合作，创作出能够大卖的畅销作品。就这样，一个非常奇怪的组合诞生了。在合作的过程中，两人渐渐挖掘出了对方身上自己所没有的特质，默契感日渐上升，与此同时，余绫一直隐瞒的秘密也渐渐的浮出了水面。。
