典型“小男人”Richard，怀才不遇的高级行政人员阿顺和做小买卖的阿煌是死党。阿煌整日沉迷于马票，却把家族生意弃之不顾，身负养家重担的Richard渐渐跟着阿煌，一起玩起了马票。 三个人尽管出身、工作都各不相同，但是大家都一心都想成就一番事业，不过对于成功依靠的是运气还是实力，彼此之间争论不休，闹出了不少笑话，仿佛一组交警的罚单号码、生日日期都会成为突然发财的契机。 务实的阿顺终于立下决心要带着朋友们闯出一番天地，Richard和阿煌用贷款顶力支持。没想到一伙偷渡客的捣乱，把三个好朋友集资的铺子在冲突中毁于一旦，阿顺和阿煌还被判入狱，Richard一人则要在外独自承担财务问题，马票成了最后的希望。这一次，幸运女神突然而至，Richard拿到了巨额奖金，但来自老婆的蛊惑，让他陷入了挣扎的局面……。The movie will feature the family of Mohanlal's character Georgekutty and so they will be reprising their roles.
