故事发生在80年代中期到1997年香港回归。李修龙和张天伟是大学同学，逐渐成长为香港长凯建筑公司正、副经理。随着事业的发展，两人的观点发生分歧，导致事业有成有败。香港房地产巨子冯天源之女冯家慧在李、张两人创业时就帮助过他们，在日后自己的经营中，面对破产和风雨的考验，又得到李修龙的有力帮助……几经起伏，在香港新机场大楼的工程中，李修龙、冯家慧和太平洋公司的亨利因对社会的杰出贡献，获得了特区政府颁发的“紫荆勋章”……。Video artist Ryosuke visits the suburb of Furano in Hokkaido, where his friend lives, in order to shoot a video.
