一宗跨国要案难住香港警方，在一次高层秘密会议上，曹探长（曹德发 饰）接受下属建议，决定派非警方人员盗走日本黑帮犯罪分子的名贵钻石。他照例找到五福星老搭档，但最终只有鹧鸪菜（洪金宝 饰）同意接手。经过一番筛选，他们从警局内部又找到4个不着调的警员，分别是：狗王伦（谭咏麟 饰）、肥豹（郑则士 饰）、Rambo（刘德华 饰）、Band友（陈友 饰）和力保健（楼南光 饰）。这几个人的搞笑和脱线本领比起五福星来有强不差，闹出更多的笑话。为了在短期内将他们训练有素，曹探长还专门派出性感迷人且身怀绝技的女警察一品香担任教练，只是这群色迷迷、只想着占便宜的家伙最终能否成功完成任务呢？。在以色列港口城市海法的一家俱乐部里，五名迥异身份的女性相遇。她们中有以色列人，也有巴勒斯坦人，但她们的交往却抛开了身份标签。《莱拉在海法》通过戏剧性的幽默讽刺，为观众展现了以色列人和巴勒斯坦人交流碰撞的当代日常。本片入围第77届威尼斯电影节主竞赛单元。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
