张小石第一次看到乡村摄影师在村头给人照相，那个方方的照相机深深地吸引了他。暑假里，远在城里的表哥带着照相机回来看家，使得张小石能近距离接触到照相机，有机会自己摄影，没想到的是，他拍的照片表哥给他投到杂志社，竟然发表了，还获得了优秀奖，这让张小石很是激动，使他有了得到一台真正的照相机的想法。为了这个目标，他不断的努力。但家里的状况实现不了他的愿望，依靠自己的力量根本无法得到相机。张小石无意中看到一则省长给别人捐赠的新闻，他带着激动而单纯的想法给省长写了一封信，然而一场意想不到的事情发生了……。Monk and his friends arrive in New York to locate the man whom they were told has information about Trudy's murder.
