《夏日恋神马》的故事发生在一个夏日的沙滩，好脾气的小方、网络上的“爱情专家”阿犬和“热情过度”的小肥在情场上屡屡失意，三人被骗参加小旅社的海南游，不料深陷骗局还惨遭打劫。一觉醒来三人发现自己竟然误打误撞来到泳装选美现场，岛上尽是惹火美女。小方见到自己爱慕已久的名模依依惊喜不已，阿犬和小肥也被众模特深深迷住，随即三人把握机会开展一场求爱大作战，甜蜜的气息在清新的海风中飘散开来。。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
