The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。文物是一个国家的瑰宝,是历史和文化的结晶,随着我国经济的繁荣和国力的增强,世界范围内的一些文物走私组织也把他们的罪恶的目光投向了中国,大批的文物流出了中国。在英国曾经一次截获走私的中国文物就达6 000多件。我公安干警为了维护国家的利益和祖国的瑰宝,与不法分子斗智斗勇,上演了一幕幕可歌可泣的英勇故事。 本剧就是在这样一个背景下展开的。文革时期,吴天成被一帮造反派逼迫,去抄他的好友--徽商后代叶延风的家。在抄家的过程中,叶延风的母亲不堪受辱当场自杀,叶延风被打成终生残疾,祖传的稀世珍宝- ----玉西瓜也不翼而飞。 孤身一人,同时被身患重疾,将不久于人世。为了报三十年前的血海深仇,叶延风开始对吴天成施行策划已久的复仇计划,目的是要拿回传家之宝- --玉西瓜,同时还要让吴天成身败名裂,家破人亡。叶延风首先派他施于恩泽的义女艾兰到吴天成的公司卧底。于是艾兰通过一笔生意,顺利的进入了吴天成的公司,并取得了吴的信任,同时业务上也为公司获得了很大的利润。。
